my 18 monther

As usual, we celebrated yet again another month birthday with a cupcake. Yes it was an easter cupcake, but was too cute to pass up. She devoured the thing, staining her hands and mouth green for hours after wards. My how time flies, my 18 month baby is no longer a baby.

Of course with turning the great 1-8 months, a doctor check up is in order. She had fun though. Weighing in at an average 24 lbs and blowing the charts for height at 34 1/2 inches, her health, language, and eating habit were perfect. She took her 2nd and last hep-A vaccination like a champ; not a peep came out of her, and was proud of her bandade after wards, like always!!!

the club house

One of Kins' favorite places to go, this perfect "kid hangout" is so great for socialization, interaction and having fun. I on the other hand have mixed feeling about it. A few things irritate me. The majority of the moms sit around socializing with the other mom's, not paying attention to their children. I end up what seems like babysitting all their kids because I choose and interact on the floor with Kinsley. I was pulled and drug by one boy into a play house; all he wanted was an adult to play with him. I kept looking at his mother and she did nothing about it, almost ignoring what was happening. She was too caught up on her, I'm sure gossip session to even notice.

But, Kinsley loves it, so my frustration with the other moms isn't enough to deter me. She sleeps an amazingly long time after and the photo ops are pretty great too.

St. Paddy's Day Parade

Both Kins nor I have any amount of Irish in our blood. I am a little sad to admit so, as it is my all time favorite accent. The Irish holiday Saint Patrick's Day is pretty awesome as well; I wish I had a legitimate reason to celebrate it. We did however attend our cities annual St. Patrick's Day parade, thinking Kins would most likely enjoy the floats, horses, loud music, and bright sunshine. I got some very ramdom, candid and fun photos of our time on Saturday.

Enjoy...

Her New Ride

I take Kinsley to a great children's place called The Club House in Ventura. It has amazing things including giant slides, a giant club house, a jumper, air hockey table, toy roller coasters, just amazing thing. But forget about all of those. The ride along cars that sit on the floor excite her more than anything else. So I had to get her one. As I type, she is sitting in her car in the house, quietly, but completely entertained. I might deem it the miracle toy!!! WAHOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Rainy Days

Love the rain, but I rarely let Kins play in it. The temperature was actually quite warm, and my cooped up babe wanted out so badly. Glad I let her because these pics are adorable.
